This is exactly what I needed. In the drawer are my pens, pencils, markers and sometimes even the remote and phone. The book stand holds my book well, not designed for THICK books but holds and fixes well. Enough space for laptop and laptop when not using the cup holder. Convenient to use, folds tightly, the drawer will not open when removed. I really like it and I'm glad I chose it!
