Worth every penny! fits Vapor Canisters

Update: It's been about a week now and there are no check engine lights and no background error codes. Some problems do not trigger the CEL but are stored in the vehicle's computer and can only be read by high quality scanners. When I restarted my computer before replacing the vaporizer unit, the light came back on every time within 48 hours. Now I know for sure that my problem is solved. I'm not sure which part of the EVAP assembly was the problem, especially when I was given almost every possible EVAP code (10 in total) it's much more practical to just swap out the entire assembly. It is very easy to remove and replace. When you get EVAP codes. Change fuel cap. If not, then this is most likely your solution. I was able to replace it in 20 minutes. 3 hoses and 3 screws and that's it. I have 10 codes! Now they're all gone. Bought the car a year ago with no problems. Never check the engine light and then boom one morning! So after scanning the car, it was impossible to know which part of the assembly was the problem, and the single part hit the $200 mark pretty quickly. Throw in a "diagnostic" job even at a cheap auto shop and you're sure to get there. $200 easy. That was the obvious decision for me. And for the price, it's pretty damn good. Anyone with even a little automotive experience can replace this part. Let me put it this way. Changing your own brakes makes things easier. To be honest, the hardest part for me when removing the old assembly was loosening the clamp on the large hose. I simply cut out the small pieces of plastic that held the clips in place while the hose and clip fit into the new assembly. All you need is a 12mm socket wrench with a decent extension and a flat head screwdriver. Toyota charged over $500 for this part. Of course, you can try to replace this or that part, but it's much easier to replace the entire assembly. OEM is almost always the way to go when it comes to Japanese cars. Very high quality details. In this case it was an easy decision as Toyota OEM parts are cheaper than aftermarket, at least here at Revain.
