They work great! in Security & Surveillance

I just wish I had bought all the sensors this device can hold right at the start. I have a large property with my house on a hill where nobody is. We have a 300 yard drive to the top of the hill where the house is located. I installed two of these on this driveway, one half way and one at the end before exiting the woods into the area around the house. The problem we had was that people driving up thought it was just a road to a hilltop viewpoint. You can't see the house from the bottom of the hill, and due to the odd layout, the mailbox is across the street. Long story. As soon as I deploy them, and yes they reach 1800ft, I'll alert if anyone approaches. Because of their sensitivity to detecting even a small rabbit on the road, I installed a second sensor 50 meters from the road so I would know if it was a real car approaching. I also installed them along with surveillance cameras. I have other sensors installed in surrounding areas open to possible entry into the area (24 acres). All devices work great and in combination with the cameras I can track whether deer etc. or people come into the area. I caught several hunters in a place where hunting is prohibited. These sensors are as advertised and do what they promise. One thing I will say is put the batteries in the main unit in the house and also use an outlet. If you lose power in your home, don't lose your active sensors. Are they worth the money, YES YES YES worth. Well made and heavy. I haven't had a single sensor failure yet because the solar panel didn't have sun to charge remote devices. They live mostly in the forest in bright areas where they get an hour or two of direct sunlight. These solar panels appear to do a good job of charging even in low light.
