Review on 🚲 Sigtuna Bike Locks - 16mm Heavy Duty U-Lock with Shackle and Bike Lock Mount Holder + 1200mm Steel Chain Cable Bicycle Lock by Adam Stone

At first I was concerned that the U-lock would be big enough to fit around my frame, my rear wheel and a hard object like a parking meter, bike rack or something; However, it seems that if the solid object is not too big, it should fit well and be snug, which is good for safety. Installing the U-lock mount on my bike (Trek Vere 3 Hybrid) took only a few minutes. When I installed the cable on my bike the ends got in the way so I just connected them with a carabiner and the problem was solved (see attached photo). When the U-lock and cable are installed on my bike, they don't interfere with the ride. As a former law enforcement officer, I find the lock provides adequate security for most areas except for high crime areas like some overland areas or other high crime areas. In this case, some additional safety measures must be taken, such as an extra U-lock etc. I find that the Sigtuna U-lock offers just as good security as some of the more expensive locks as the U-lock's diameter is slightly smaller. larger and requires additional force to cut. The locking mechanism appears solid and should be reasonably resistant to breaking or breaking. I would recommend that unless you need to secure your bike in a high crime area that you consider some additional security measures to reinforce it.
