This lock has been working for less than 3 weeks and has already prevented my bike from being stolen. The bolt cutters only made a small dent in the lock. At first I was concerned that the U-lock would be big enough to fit around my frame, my rear wheel and a hard object like a parking meter, bike rack or something; However, it seems that if the solid object is not too big, it should fit well and be snug, which is good for safety. I bought a Siguna 16mm hardened steel U-lock with 1200mm double loop cable which arrived yesterday. Basically, I bought a lock for U-Lock. I don't really need a cable. Since cables are inherently the weak link in any locking system, I have no intention of using them.
