Review on Sennheiser HD 600 Professional Stereo Headphones - Open Dynamic Design for Hi-Fi Audio (Black) by Kero Reyes ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

After listening to a variety of headphones and making comparisons, I decided that these Beyerdynamic 250 headphones were the ones that best met my needs. Initially, I had no intention of purchasing this particular model. They have a beautiful sound and fit nicely on the head (at first, the fit was a touch uncomfortable, but the designers worked on it, and now it is nearly undetectable). But, the difficulty stems from the fact that there is now a Creative x-fi xtreme gamer Fatal1ty audio system, and as a result, the sound quality of the line output is only average. On a different computer, there is a program called M-audio revolution 5.1. The sound on that system is exactly what the audiologist prescribed: the scene is detailed, the localization is distinct, the distortion is kept to a minimum, and the dynamic range is expansive. For these headphones, the Asus Xonar Essence One is the best option, therefore I intend to purchase one in the near future and link it to an X-Fi via coaxial cable. PS: after several months of warming up the copper cymbals while simultaneously listening to them, the heightened color of the cymbals has faded, and the sound has gotten smoother but sadly more dry. Because headphones place such high demands on the source, I am becoming more and more aware of the lack of a strong amplifier and DAC. If you acquire these headphones without being prepared to invest more money on accessories, they will not reveal themselves to you.

Pros
  • sound that is detailed, clear, and uncolored (almost) Outstanding dynamics and depth of stage, as well as expansive dynamic range and even surplus power
Cons
  • "Copper cymbals are more sonorous than necessary," although I even enjoy this performance, a flimsy wire is included, and all the deficiencies of the source are completely evident. "Copper cymbals are more sonorous than necessary."
