The Moon Lence 8 person camping tent came in a nice carry bag. The suitcase is a bit heavy, which is to be expected for an 8 person tent, but I was surprised by the somewhat small size of the suitcase, which could easily be thrown in a car or maybe even put in a large backpack. (See Photo 1) I've only camped once, and the other time I've camped I've used an instant 4 person tent. This was my FIRST time pitching a non-out of the box tent with poles. Overall I think the installation was as easy as it gets. You can tell that a lot of things were taken into account when constructing this tent, because everything turns out well in the end. If this is your first time pitching a tent like me, I would practice before your day of camping. They learn things like using a hammer to hit stakes. I expect to be able to set it up in 30-45 minutes next time. There are instructions, but they could be clearer - several times my wife and I just had to "find out". (See photo 2 for instructions and photos 3 and 4 for the contents of the carry bag.) The appearance of the tent is very pleasing. Plenty of pegs are provided and there are plenty of options including rails and loops on the 'inner' tents (more on that in a moment) for securing things. Overall as this was only a practice run I only used half the pegs and was very happy with the stability of the tent even though I only used half. With all the stakes holding it up I have no doubt this tent will be sheltered from the wind. (See photo 5 for the tent, note I didn't set any guidelines) The last thing to mention is one of the coolest aspects of this tent. After erecting the outer part of the tent, 2 inner tents are attached to the inside (one on each side). You can see them in my photo 6. They are deceptively large, definitely big enough for a queen size air bed with extra room on the side. What I really like is that these inner tents have separate waterproof floors. I love that you can enter the tent and then take your shoes off and leave them outside before entering the inner tent which you can keep clean. I'm 5ft 11" and could easily stand in the middle of the tent. The 2 doors on each side also provide a nice breeze throughout the day to keep the tent cool. It was about 80 degrees and I didn't feel very hot inside. Being able to close the outside of the tent and then open the two inner tents creates a nice family atmosphere for me and my wife and also for her mother and sister when we all use it for camping. It conveys an intimate feeling while still offering separate additional space. Parents with a few children - this is your tent! I have a feeling it would be perfect for that. I hope this review is helpful to some people looking for a tent! I'm no expert and don't camp all that often, but overall I'm a happy customer and look forward to camping at the end of August.
