I have been using the OLFA scissors for many years and I highly recommend them. The worst problem I had was people "borrowing" them and keeping them. My first pair spent the winter in the snow and it wasn't staged. According to the description of my first scissors, they were designed as craft scissors and can do very heavy work. I've cut wire with them, opened lots of packing boxes, cut corrugated and poster board and paper, and they're still cutting fabric and several layers of freezer paper for applique. What more could you want from a pair of scissors?
