Review on Versatile Gravel King SK 700 x 32 cm Folding Tire for All-Terrain Adventures by Amrozi Goodall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Quiet operation, low vibration and excellent traction on all types of gravel

These tires are another example of how gravel conditions have changed rapidly in recent years. - She crashed on an 80+ mile ride consisting of pavement, grass clipping path, crushed limestone gravel and dirt. Pros: Copes with pavement fairly well with minimal tire roar and vibration. Quiet on gravel. - I had to keep looking at the display to see how fast I was going. Low vibration, not present on hard surfaces. Minimal rolling resistance. Tread pattern sheds mud just the way you want it. The stability made me feel like I was riding wider than 700x32 tires. Cons: I regret not trying them sooner. I tried three sets of 8-inch Kleinbock tires and assumed all the gravel tires were loud and buzzed on pavement and pavement. Use soapy water when installing. It's not easy to set up. I followed the advice of others and used a tire fitting tool, which I also checked. Outer tread grips and conforms to slippery surfaces. It took some getting used to. The tires will slip if you are too aggressive. I had a moment when the rear wheel was hanging. - I also drove over 20 mph on gravel and melting snow. Observation: I've experimented with psi and found that 65-70 is most comfortable on gravel while still providing enough control at 18-20 mph. Bought 700x32.

Pros
  • Easy to set up
Cons
  • Not everything fits
