Put this on a 4.2 liter jeep? READ IT!

Fit this to my 87 YJ after bypassing the nut. Some things to know before buying this carb that I found out after MONTHLY headaches. 1) It's a Motorcraft 2150, NOT a 2100. 2) It has a 1.14 venturi, ideally you want 1.08 I've read. 3) Adapter Mr. The 1937 gasket causes a significant vacuum leak at the base of the carburetor. 4) You'll need to make an adapter or buy one off eBay from a guy you'll read about in hundreds of forum threads you'll probably go through. 5) The accelerator pump needs to be replaced with a shorter shaft or you will have a lot of hesitation at idle. I used a Dorman 90082. 6) The power valve sucks, it's single stage, no markings on it to tell you what size it is and it looks like it's glued together from scrap metal, get a spare, 8.5 is a good size , but I'm currently using 7.5. 7) The injectors could be #48. These are the only components marked and mine says 485. Replace with #47 from Mike's Carburetor Parts. UPDATE: The power valve and jet threads are the wrong size as this carburetor is third party junk. Don't buy this. I still have hesitation idle. I checked everything else. Weber or efi are next.
