Works great until the crappy design catches up with it.

I was so disappointed with this charger that it took me over a year to gather the strength to write a review. I liked it at first, it worked well with my solar panel and charged. my AA and AAA batteries are no problem. I have a big family so we use up batteries pretty quickly. While this may not affect the electric bill much, I really enjoyed being able to charge my batteries with solar power and the portable solar panel I already had. made of very cheap plastic so needs to be handled with care) usb cable "banged" one day when i picked up the charger. Or at least I thought so. What happened instead was the entire USB connector detached from the circuit board inside and came out of the USB connector hole in the plastic case while remaining connected to the USB cable. I always handle my devices with great care and respect. hands, and this charger is so cheap and poorly made that the connector pops out with little to no pressure after a short use. Check out other reviews and you'll even see that someone included a picture of a disabled port. Mine looked exactly like this. I really want to recommend this product as it started off great. Your charging needs.V.

Cons
  • Not bad, but...
