Review on πŸ§… Onion Chopper Pro - Heavy-Duty Vegetable Chopper Slicer Dicer Cutter | Tear-Free | 80% Stronger | Cheese & Veggie Chopper | Kitchen Cutter Dicer with 2 Blades by Kimberly Jain

normal generic alternative

The product is clearly a generic alternative and not as good as the Progressv brand (I've used 3 of them). The blade grate is a notch smaller than the other brand, and the plastic teeth that push through the food have been shaved off with 2//100 blades, putting a few little plastic curls in the chopped onion. The lid definitely sticks to the cutting insert when closed after sharpening. The base is made of hard transparent plastic, which is very convenient. The drawn volume marks are ridiculously wrong (clearly implausible). Dual blade inserts are good. I wouldn't do large potatoes on a wider blade, but 2cm thick slices are diced. I save "hard" vegetable slices (onions) up to 1 cm thick for less blade use. Don't clean the push teeth until you're done slicing, as the debris will help push the current slices through the blades. Simply rinsing and then patting the lid teeth a few times works better and is easier than using a comb. This home-use unit is much cheaper than restaurant models ($99-$580) that are made entirely of stainless steel.
