Bright, easy to set up gaming projector

Definitely one of my best purchases in the last year. I've never owned a projector before but wanted something to watch movies and play games from my PC and PS4 and this projector is perfect for both. The projector has several modes, including one dedicated to gaming. In all modes, the picture is very bright and clear (thanks to Darbee enhancement). Gaming Mode: With 16ms latency, it's not as fast as a gaming monitor, but definitely one of the fastest projectors/TVs for gaming. Color and brightness are not affected in this faster response mode for the projector. Short Throw: I'm amazed at the screen size this projector can achieve from just over a few feet away. I bought a 100" fixed projection screen to use with this projector and actually had to use the projector's zoom out feature to get the size small enough to fit the screen from just over 4 feet away. Location: Currently my projector is on a shelf under a bench stool so the projector is off the center of the floor and the computer's HDMI input cable can be neatly tucked under the sofa. There should be cables dangling in the middle of the room, but since the projector is so small and can be scaled down (reduce image size for throw distance), I was able to use this setting. Noise/Heat: Projectors can get very warm. I had to place the projector somewhere with good airflow, but the fan is pretty quiet and I can't even hear it when I turn on the surround sound. Put the batteries in the remote control, connect the projector, connect the computer/game system and turn on the projector. sector included. Then find the best location for your projector based on how big the screen needs to be (size chart in the user guide) and adjust keystone and focus. Even playing around with other settings on the menu screen, this setup doesn't take more than 20 minutes. Mobility. Once you've set up the projector and figured out where to put it, you can just pack up the projector and take it with you. Only keep it when you need it. I also have a VR headset and was apprehensive about buying a TV and facing it with the headset. With a projector, I can just stow the projector away before turning the room into an open VR space. Overall: I would definitely recommend this product if you are short on space and want to use it for gaming/movies.
