I've used several sizes and brands of reusable desiccant bags and this is the best I've tried. The relative humidity in the southeastern United States can be very high at times, and microwave desiccant packs can be difficult and time consuming to control, maintain, and use. This is a dream. One pack per box in the headstock area of the box maintains an average relative humidity of around 45% in my cases. They have a clear and easy to read color coded indicator on the front so you can tell when it's time to warm them up. Advice. Make sure you know the wattage of your microwave. Then CAREFULLY follow their instructions for the number of minutes appropriate for the power of your microwave oven. I recommend lowering the number of minutes the first time until you know how many minutes works for you. This is important as otherwise you could burn the desiccant pack as some have done. It's also a good idea to weigh each NEW package immediately after opening the plastic packaging. The total weight of each of mine averaged about 155 grams when new and dry. As they gain moisture, you will see their weight increase.
