Although they were paper they looked great and were fanatical quality. The paper and glitter are real gold, not that fancy shade you get on cheap items. I used them as centerpieces for a retirement party and they really made the whole plastic tablecloth look better. As long as they don't get dirty they can be reused - I wish the family members who cleaned up after the party would save them because they were so cute.
