Not a true A5, width is 130 mm vs 148 mm for A5. Height is 210 mm (same as A5).The paper is okay; it doesn't bleed but is somewhat waxy and therefore prone to smearing.The cover is polyurethane, aka. "vegan leather". I'm not sure vegans eat polyurethane and it definitely isn't natural, but looks like leather from a distance. It's harder and slipperier than the cover material used on a Moleskine and definitely doesn't have the satisfying hand-feel of those.The elastic is good so far and the pen loop is handy. The inside pockets are good enough.Value-wise, this is 57% of the (240 148mm wide) pages in a Moleskine or Leuchtturm at 40% of the price. Combine that with the cheap plastic cover and second-rate paper and I don't call this a good value. For my money, the extra $3.50 (pro-rated) cost of the Moleskine is well worth it.
