Review on LEDKINGDOMUS Roof Racks Cross Bars by Paul Dahl

The packaging is compact, well organized, protected by bubble wrap, pretty useless instructions given. All is well until you try to screw the bars into their socket mounts - the part that then connects flush to the roof with the side rails. The hex wrench (supplied) loosened both screws by tightening them finger tight. Result: a wobbly, unfinished mount that causes annoying vibrations at any speed. I will also add that the bar's "end/inside brackets" come in pairs, with one having a sliding slot to adjust the overall length. See image. This seems like a terrible design given the vibrations of the road - I understand the attempt to provide flexibility for roof landings (side rails) of different widths. But this is exactly where the screws broke off and I can neither loosen nor tighten them, the bracket just wobbles. Attention, I have not ridden them yet, but this is probably a return of a defective item.
