This works on my Moto X4 with a protective case.

It tucks and folds in and I clip it to the back of the phone and it fits nicely in an aftermarket case. It charges the battery, but does not perform a power charge. This is expected. A 10V receiver can. This is a 5 volt receiver. If it does what I hope it does, with no moving parts, it deserves 5 stars.
