I was expecting this to be like the last "goose down comforter" I ordered! It has surpassed all of my expectations. This is ALL down, doesn't shed, and is big enough to be comfortable for my husband and I on our California King bed.I was looking for the comforter my mom bought for me when I was 8 years old. It was the most comfortable blanket is ever had. It was 100% down and queen sized. It was 18 years old and my husband and I huddled under it every night. My husband is a blanket hog, so it was time to search for this fabled lightweight warm 100% goose down comforter. THIS WAS IT. I hesitated ordering because the last blanket I ordered was a SUPER heavy weight uncomfortable mismatched down comforter that happened to have maybe 1 down feather in it. It was like 99.99% feathers.
