, I shoot both Canon and Nikon. I used to be a fan of filter collectors. I've tried all the famous expensive CPL filter brands you mention and the cheaper ones, try my filters too. I don't use them anymore, but I keep them in my collection pile. Since trying the Nikon 77mm CPL filter I haven't gone back to other brands. Instead of buying multiple focal length filters like I did, you can save some money. Money by buying this 82mm size and some adapters for use with shorter focal length lenses. Nikon CPL filters are made from high quality glass. They make blue skies look really blue and underwater objects appear very clean and clear. They remove reflections from wet foliage. When used for fashion or food photography, they enhance colors. Most filters offer 2 stops, Nikon filters offer 1 and 1/2 stops. The best in the business. It has no color cast. Other filters are magenta, gray, green, or blue. Expensive yes, but worth it!
