I have severe gum problems and need to floss. A few months ago I switched from regular dental floss, probably teflon coated, to this product. This biodegradable thread works just as well for me. I'm very happy that I don't have any toxic substances in my mouth and that I no longer have to worry about disposing of plastic dispensers and other persistent products in the environment. The reusable glass container also works great, looks chic and takes up hardly any space in my first-aid kit. Since charcoal doesn't have an odor that I can smell, I gave it 4 stars for "flavor" but that's not a criticism. . I was actually going to answer "not applicable".
