Wow, no kidding! This is the best ice cream scoop. A solid piece of stainless steel, the handle has a comfortable silicone grip, it's also a good weight and scoops well straight and also with a tilt or side scoop (it's handy). Call it a bullet precision! Is it more expensive than other shovels? Yes, and let me tell you it's worth it! For a solid precision shovel, it's very well made and will last long after I'm gone. I bought this to replace my old shovel with a cheap chrome nickel finish that was starting to peel off. With this shovel, this should never be a problem. I like the weight and balance of the Scoop, the perfect combination of both. My only complaint is that it arrived with what appeared to be a small piece of rust, but this rubbed off easily and completely disappeared after washing. So I can't hold that against the scoop. It was packaged well which is an added bonus. I would buy it again and maybe buy an extra one to have on hand. Beautifully made by SUMO! I bought it with my own money and got nothing for writing this review.
