I like to have it right on my desk for little clutter. Our handheld vacuum is in a different part of the house so I have to go there every time to clean up the tiniest mess in other rooms and I'm also out of charge. I love that this device requires batteries so it's always ready to use. I use removable batteries, so I put new ones in as soon as it starts to slow down. He gets things with regular surfaces like my table and counters and our sofa. It's also quieter than our handheld vacuum. That's great!
