I have no idea what the warm rating means. Is it getting warm? Does the computer stay warm while working? I have no idea why I rated it a 3 as the rating name makes no sense to me in relation to a fan. The fan comes with its own set screws. The frame has built-in rubber buffers to prevent vibration. The side with the dragon print goes inside. Installation was easy in my case as there was nothing preventing fans from being installed on my desktop computer. Turn off your computer and disconnect it from the network. Move it to a place where you have a workspace. Open the case and find where the old fan is. Unpack your new fan along with the screws that came with it. Remove the fan by unscrewing the screws and setting these screws aside. Follow the fan wiring to the connector. Get a new fan. Disconnect the old fan and connect the new fan in the same place. Set the old fan aside. Place the new fan where the old fan was (the dragon image is facing in). Use the included screws to attach it. To improve performance, you can go into your computer's BIOS and set the fan to PMW (Pulse Width Modulation). Once you put it in this mode, you can adjust the fan curves so that it runs at different speeds based on your computer's current temperature. My computer came with 2 poor quality, failed, backlit fans that started to dim when turned on. me pretty fast. I could care less about the light. I want performance. These fans don't rock and sing songs. They do a great job of what case fans are supposed to do - they keep your computer cool. I think these fans are great. Keep my computer warm during graphics intensive games and that's what I want. Two thumbs up.
