I bought 2 of these in October 2019. Here I am today in July 2020 and both have stopped working. I took the base of the solar controller to see if the battery was worn out and found that everything inside was rusted and falling apart. The wires from the solar panel fell off due to rust, the microcircuits on the board fell off with ease. As far as I can tell the board wasn't even laminated, epoxy or anything. The frame of the case has no rubber or silicone to protect against water. And of course rusty water has accumulated in the device. The batteries seem fine and can be removed/replaced so I will be using them for other solar powered garden lights. or damage. Only the solar panel housing has a serious design problem. It's strange that something meant to be installed externally isn't provided. Disappointing. Although they looked very cute while working.
