Great product, best quality.
I bought this case to replace the Node 304 from the same manufacturer. Node 304, of course, is half the size and seems to have an interesting layout, but it stood without a lid and was clogged with dust (because with the lid closed, the video card roared under load and heated up to 90 °). As a result, in my fully closed Define Nano S, the temperature under load is lower than in the open Node 304, and nothing is heard from it at all.
- Quality materials. Dust filters. Excellent breathability. A video card with a length of 305mm fit in and there was still a margin. Very quiet after assembly. The front bundled fan can be repositioned (I repositioned it below to supply air to a non-turbo graphics card). Convenient anti-vibration mount for 3.5" drive.
- The body is frankly large, and its layout is irrational. The power supply is located at the bottom and there is a very small gap between the PSU and the video card, so video cards with flat fans (non-turbine) have nowhere to take air from. And I also specially installed a narrow SFX power supply, I'm afraid to imagine how it is with a regular ATX power supply. At the same time, in front (where ordinary ATX cases have a basket for hard drives and a place for drives) there is no use for emptiness. For good, it’s just there that the power supply should be moved, thus saving in the height of the case, and the width could be tightened. There are cases with such a layout on the market (at least one), but they cost three times more. Not very reasonable and convenient mounting points for 2.5" drives. One is generally on the other side of the processor, always hot. But not critical, since there are two others.
