A valuable purchase, some advantages!
I did a lot of shooting for it, both out in the field and in the studio for news pieces. My other glasses (18-55, 50 1.8, 55-250) miss focusing around once in a hundred times, but this one doesn't. This is entirely my fault. Unfortunately, it lacks sufficient crispness. The hues look fine. The ergonomics are excellent, however a thicker zoom ring would have been preferable. I opted for a brand-new, sturdy model with tight-fitting rings. The weight, though, is merely +
- focal lengths, USB, short focusing distance, dogged pursuit of sharp focus, almost-perfect success rate.
- There's a noticeable loss of crispness even in the cropped corners; I was hoping for more.
