tick, tick, tick. Tick, tick, tick. I bought this clock because I like the style (analogue, black and white), because it rotates, runs on a single AA battery, can be seen from anywhere in the room, and is relatively inexpensive. As the old saying goes, you get what you pay for. Although the materials are cheap plastic, you don't really notice it until you pick it up and look closely. And although I just received it, I assume the watch is showing the exact time. However - I didn't place the clock where I originally intended it because I can hear the tick, tick, tick of the second hand. And once you become aware of the tick, tick, tick, it will be like a drip, drip, drip of a faucet getting louder and louder as you struggle to fall asleep at 2am. All in all, if you find a ticking clock annoying and your hearing is pretty good, think about your intended location before purchasing this clock. Now that I know, I definitely wouldn't consider it for my bedroom or my desk or any other place where I prefer the sounds of silence.
