My daughter is 12 years old, 5'3", weighs about 79 pounds, she is so tall and thin. I bought an L for her thinking they would be baggy based on the size chart. She they fit her perfectly and she says they are comfortable. They even passed the transparency test! I will note they are not as big as in the picture and are short on her (about 2" above her ankles). Overall we are happy with the purchase and will buy another pair.
