Bought these connectors to be able to quickly remove my in line RV water softener for recharging. They are virtually impossible to disconnect while under pressure. I anticipated not having to shut off water supply to remove them. While in ordinary circumstances that sounds easy, but due to the layout and other issues, turning off water is problematic in many locations where I park my RV, and where I have to position my water softener. For now, they are lying in my spare parts bin.
