For the money this is a decent little vacuum sealer. I have found that I need to "rest" the machine for about 5-10 minutes during a typical packing morning. The sealing function overheats and just doesn't work. I've found that if the machine overheats, it won't work at all. The first time this happened I was determined to repackage and send it back. After a few minutes I decided to try again and it worked. On a hunch I waited 7 or 8 minutes when it happened again and it worked perfectly. For the price I think I can control myself and hope to use at least two seasons before it finally runs out. Next time (and I know next time will be) I buy a vacuum sealer, I'll spend more money and buy a better known device with a warranty.
