Nice upgrade for their already good NVRs

This 4K NVR system is a great upgrade (or even better for a first time purchase). There are 8 powered PoE ports for connecting IP cameras directly. The NVR is future-proof as it supports cameras with video resolution up to 12MP, which is better than 4K. As you can see from the attached video, the dash cam makes noise. Two fans, one sucks in cold air, the second blows out hot air. The entrance is at the back and the exit is on the left. This provides good airflow to cool the system. The noise itself is only noticeable when you are in a quiet room near the DVR. TV noise or running computers drown out the DVR. This unit is larger than previous NVRs, but that's because this NVR can handle two 10TB hard drives. Most previous NVRs only worked with a 16TB drive. This feature here allows you to store a lot more archival footage and maintain a higher quality. This NVR also has physical buttons on the front panel that you can use to perform playback functions. I haven't personally used them other than to see what they do. The included mouse is more than sufficient to provide the functionality needed to set up and run the system. If you've never owned an NVR before, there can be a slight learning curve, but if you've used one before (especially Amcrest), it shouldn't be difficult.
