Very durable in my opinion.
I used them for the beaches on our cruise. They can be worn on pavement, mud, sand or carpet. The sand just shakes off as it dries. They dry very quickly. I bought a gray pair and a black pair. My husband liked them so I bought him a pair.

Pros
- I love wearing them in the shower and in the water... but the buttocks don't have much support!
Cons
- The soles of these boots are paper thin, I don't know how they will handle hot sand or a hot road, we'll see
