Review on OLFA CHN1 Chenille Cutter by Christina Love

Revainrating 5 out of 5

If you make your own chenille fabric, go get it!

I had an order for a chenille bib and made it by hand with scissors. Then someone told me about this little gem. If you plan to make artificial chenille, buy one. You will not regret it. Each of the four legs has a different width and blade exposure. You control the blade and "change" the blade with the same knob - twist in one direction to change the blade to the next unused segment (fresh sharp blade surface!) for your project. Make a first cut in the pocket and insert the correct leg. Raise it up (or lower it, whichever suits you) and the blade will slice as you go, voila, you're done! You'll know the blade is dull when you try to pull it up and it won't be difficult.

Pros
  • All positive
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
