I ordered a mug as a present for my aunt's birthday. It came in the mail just a few days later and looked great except for a line on the front that smudged the paint and made the lettering illegible. I emailed the company regarding this and they responded in less than a day and offered to ship a brand new custom order mug for proper care. I of course agreed and received a replacement cup the next day. There were absolutely no scratches or marks on it and I didn't even have to send the original back to the company. Although the initial product was unsatisfactory, the prompt corporate acceptance and voluntary compensation was outstanding.
