Our son just turned 10 and is 54 inches tall. This jacket fits him perfectly and is soft enough to keep him warm on cold days. It has no hood and is a sweater, no front zip. The quality of the jacket is very good and the seams are well finished. It was a great jacket for our little man, it's a neutral color and he loves the comfort. The jacket itself has survived the weekly washes very well The price is great as it is a well known brand with a reputation for making quality products. I don't think my son will wear this jacket ahead of time and she will make a used jacket for someone in the future. I highly recommend this jacket.
