Review on πŸ‘ Organic Merino Wool Nursing Pads - Original Style, Medium Size, 7 inch Diameter: A Gentle and Soft Solution by Colleen Wilson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

LOVE THESE - don't settle for the cheaper ones!

Although they seem expensive I decided to try them when I was struggling with vasospasm. There were rumors that her warmth was supposed to help - and it did - but then I fell in love with her for other reasons. 1) they're very soft - you don't think it's going to be wool - but they are 2) they actually hide better under clothes - this is counterintuitive because these things are HUGE - but because they're huge, they lie better - warning - they also make you look taller as they are a bit thicker than regular nursing pads (some are thicker than others - they're about as thick as bamboo overnight). 3) They are sooo light. I've had my 3-5 weeks before I washed them (and I'm not sure I need them, but I was going to wash another pair - more on that later). They really do need to re-lanolize (which scared me) - but I googled and found I could just add some water, lanolin (a great use for my Lanisnoh lanilon which I don't like using on my boobs) and a few drops of baby soap . Then just mix it with water and rub it into the pads and then air dry. I wear them EVERY day. I was at the boutique in town and found another brand (can't remember the brand now) - wool nursing pads - and I wanted a second pair - so I got them. They were about half the price and now I know why. They're not that soft - in fact, they're a bit stiff. I haven't decided if I hate them enough to get a second pair of these or not - they recommend that you air out a pair at least once a day, which is why I wear one pair at night and one pair during the day. I've been doing this for 5 weeks now and I love it. I'm not sure I'll ever go back to regular disposables or fabric.
