I use this keyboard for typing at night and from time to time I leave the light on the dimmer and then I have time to press a button that closes the document which I'm working on and opens another one, that's my only issue other than it could sit a bit higher, the keys are quiet and I like the light. EDIT: 2 months later some of the black on the keys is worn out and half a year ago I need a new keyboard again because the letters A, R and M are almost worn out and also sometime the letters stick well, I fixed it, by pulling for sticky keys, but while I like the slight U aspect, I'll look for a better quality backlit keyboard when I can't use this anymore. Also went from 4 stars to 2, in my opinion they only needed to coat the buttons after painting them black.
