I'm not a gamer but I needed a new keyboard and bought this one because it looked festive. Tell you what, I'm really glad I got it. The keys are both backlit and illuminated by the letters. You can adjust the brightness or turn off the keyboard backlight completely. I find it very helpful for me when I have to type with one hand and press the keys. The backlight also makes it easy for me to find a special character key that I didn't remember. good buy

I like how it looks. The layout is great, and it's a solid, good-sized keyboard. I would really appreciate it if the keys didn't get stuck randomly. It's not like this or that key is stuck all the time - the keys are stuck all over the keyboard, and who knows which key will be next. UPDATE - Downgraded from 4 stars to 1: I was hoping the key would loosen a bit but unfortunately it didn't. The board is VERY loud and the buttons are still VERY firm after many months of use. I still like the light and colors.
