If you're like me, a grown woman in my 30s who (me?) is lucky enough to be built like a prepubescent boy with an opposite fashion sense and mean attitude, mate, then you've hit the jackpot. Here I am: 5ft 4in, about 125lbs, 33-25-34 height, athletic build. I went to Russell's website to check their sizing chart and first bought the size XL which fits me too big (think regular adult XS hoodie). ). Size M fits me like a glove. You can wear a layer underneath. The arms are a bit short but I can see my watch without rolling up my sleeve. .) I didn't tumble dry it, so can't speak about shrinkage, but I probably avoid it. And the bold colors are great. It's hard to find anything bright red or blue in the adult section. Relatively thick. and warmer, at least more than anything else for women at a reasonable price. At $13 it's a steal. I've tried a few inexpensive youth sweatshirts from similar brands and this is by far the best. (ps I can only speak for non-hooded sweatshirts, I haven't tried the sweatshirt.)
