Despite some strong positives, these headphones were disappointing. On the positive side, their ability to transfer their crisp and precise accuracy to the audiophile headphone section. The sounds are clear and deep throughout the range. I hear everything I can through my professional monitor speakers. Cons - Fit, silicone eartips, and overall quality. Land first. They are bulky and prone to falling out. There's a couple of inches of molded plastic that's meant to wrap around the ear to keep their own weight from pulling out, but because it works, they've actually fallen out on me more often. Then there are the silicone parts of the earbuds themselves. They don't fit well; the middle one is too big and the small one is too big. Matching is important because a slight deviation in position in the ear canal means a distant tinny sound differs from a rich soundscape. They also had an annoying habit of jumping out of posts. Cleaning with isopropyl alcohol sometimes helped a bit, but two days later you found yourself somewhere with a headphone bud stuck in your ear canal. I learned to carry tweezers with me. Based on these points, I would give the headphones a solid three, maybe even four stars. The price is right and they are truly transcendent when working together. However, this is in view of the fact that they really work. The pair I received stopped working after two months when the right earbud stopped to a mere whisper. As if the speaker inside somehow shifted. It creates sound, but it seems to be directed somewhere else in the body rather than through the stand and into the ear.
