I am not a professional photographer, but just an amateur, and therefore I will speak in simple language. Less than a year ago, I was presented with a Nikon3100 kit 18-55. After using it for less than a year, I realized that this is not mine. I have to photograph babies a lot, where the use of a flash is not acceptable and you need short shutter speeds, which can be achieved by increasing ISO + fast optics. Soon a new 1,4G fix was bought for the 3100th. The result became better, but not by much . very frequent autofocus misses and noise already at 400. For these reasons, it was decided to switch to 7100. I bought a bodysuit, now 1.4G is attached. I have only 4 days for the camera, but even in such a short time the advantage over 3100 is obvious. ISO 3200 is really working, noise is noticeable, but they are not so pronounced as to spoil the picture. It focuses instantly, although I heard complaints from a friend about thoughtfulness, but I suspect that the autofocus speed on my copy is probably still higher due to the fact that the lens is equipped with a motor. Using this camera I have only positive emotions. There is, of course, a small minus, although you canβt even call it a minus. Some editors donβt see RAW from it. Photoshop sees ACDSee and the Windows viewer - they donβt recognize it. ated and everything is working fine now. Well, in general, something like this, while everything is fine, I donβt want to think about the oil on the matrix, I hope that it will blow over))) PS / Having used the camera a little more, I decided to add a couple of lines to my review. Yes, the camera is good, but there are a whole bunch of problems with RAW processing. If you buy it, immediately download the free ViewNX 2.8.3 converter from the NIKON website. I donβt know why, but even after converting to jeeps, when opening a photo in Ps (license), some kind of noise comes out that disappears only at high magnification, which makes working in Ps extremely inconvenient. But oddly enough, in other photo editors, the photo is perfect. If anyone knows, tell me the solution pliz.
