I have another pair that look exactly the same from Cat & Jack (Target) and it's very difficult to fit short baby legs in them. The straps on these Hobibear sandals are easy to undo and there is a handy pull tab on the back for quick slipping on. - I love the dark olive color - So far it's holding up well so a lot of kids play in the mud, sand. , and gravel. The reinforced toe box keeps the shoes from falling apart if your toddler drags his feet while riding a tricycle (this happened to my son's other pair from Carter; he ended up with a big hole in his toe and we had to throw them out) - Sizing is accurate . - The band material is soft enough to avoid blisters during the break-in period. The only problem I've found so far is that one of the shoes is beginning to fray on the side. But that was after my son actually put them through the wringer. I gave them to his little sister and bought him a new pair. I really like these in general.
