I have a variety of tropical fish and several species of char, my dojo char started at about 3 inches when I bought them and have been chewing on them for 3-4 months varies from 6 to 8 inches and they look like thick floating sausages. My feeding schedule includes flakes, river beetle bites, mosquito larvae, seaweed waffles and these shrimp pellets. My dojo char will suck up whatever floats on top until they hit the water and then they dive in and ignore other food My butterfly char, tiger char and clown char eat shrimp pellets. The pellets soften pretty quickly, my dojos when they were smaller to spit them out when they first drowned and then eat them a few minutes later. later when they started to soften. Now they just swallow them whole, but others prefer soft ones. This is another product that I would like to see in bulk. We use about 60-80 pellets a day so I have to buy them regularly and my dojos will uproot my plants if I miss their shrimp pellets. If you have char, Wardley shrimp pellets are a good choice for feeding.
