Perfect for ATEM Mini Pro. Just plug in and work with no setup required for my setup and need. All I needed was a clean output of the program to the guest monitors to show the program in real time. Unfortunately, the Atem Mini Pro does not have a pure HDMI output, only a MultiView output. But it closes that gap. I built a mobile cart - I have a gigabit network switch that I plug it into and then my atem mini pro plugs into the switch too and they just see each other. No network administrator required! - for my setup. I have two computers in this mobile setup that are also connected to the switch and both computers running the software automatically see the bridge when the bridge is enabled! I also have to report that I use a Mac and not a PC. After turning everything on and running the ATEM software on the computer, he/she will see the streaming bridge and you can select the recording/streaming quality you want! I'm running the latest atem update on 04/14/2021. At first I was concerned because I record with the Mini Pro. I don't use it for streaming, I think rarely. I was concerned that it had a fixed bitrate, but no. It will stream in the quality you set. Using the Atem as a recorder saves me the multi-camera cut only after a theater or dance production, as the real-time cut is done via multi-channel switching. Then I'll download the stream at home and put it online the next day or so and that will keep our customers happy. Because with Atem Mini Pro, you can't stream one quality and then record another. To do this you need to move to a more extensive setup with Blackmagic. That price should cut off some options. To start feeding the Streaming Bridge, first select Atem Streaming Bridge as the output option in the ATEM software control panel, mine was automatically selected when I first started the software. Then for the stream quality I use Hyperdeck High which gives me up to 70Mbps write speeds pushing my cameras when moving and the quality is the same as the cards directly on the cameras! Launch it by pressing the button while in the air. After that, the stream will appear on your monitors in about a second or two. There's a second delay or something, but that's to be expected. If you want to turn off the bridge program feed, just press the air off button. To start again, click Live - it's a simple button! I had to send the program's clean pitch to the sales counter and backstage to see the guests and talent live. I use an HDMI splitter and run the signal from the HDMI transmitter to one and then a very long HDMI cable with an amplifier to the other. I will also be using my laptop as the HDMI input on the Atem mini pro to play samples and commercials between shows and sometimes I'll take an SSD hard drive that I just recorded and pop it into my laptop and play it after the show the people in front could watch the show that just took place as a taste. Very happy with all Blackmagic Design products - remarkable but pure genius at a price we small video producers can afford! This gives us the opportunity to offer truly professional services and appear bigger than we really are!
