While I'm glad I have a great sounding speaker, the battery life is short and when you're listening to music at night, the speaker's backlight is very distracting. I think tonight I'll leave it on the charger and find something to block the lights while I listen. Update - At first I thought this was a great product. But in a few months it won't play unless it's plugged in - it won't hold a charge for nothing - so what it advertises as saying I can use it (at the pool etc.) would be "no" as long as it is can be clearly linked. This is the third and final portable speaker I will be purchasing. The last 2 - won't charge you - soon that won't charge you either unfortunately - don't waste your money and honestly the price was good so you still get what you pay for!
