This is the travel version of the electric irrigator. This is the first dental floss I've ever used (although I used actual electric floss many years ago when I wore braces). I don't consider it dental floss. It's more like a cleaning product (supplementary, not a substitute for brushing or flossing). Without all the embarrassment, I like it. I didn't want something that would take up too much space so I thought this would be a great option. Although in general it's not quite for me. Either way, you must have a glass. It's also better, at least for me, to use in the shower. (The first time I tried it at the sink, there was water everywhere.) I don't have shelves or anything like that in the shower, so I have to hold the glass in one hand and try to hold the pipe there, and keep the floss with me the other. It makes me feel uncomfortable. Between that and the primer, which also took some practice, I don't know if it's worth the effort. For those who could use it without making the mess I make in the sink, it has advantages such as glass being easier to clean than a storage container.
