I have an 18 lb terrier mix. She wears a small to medium size in most things. I followed the size chart exactly. I ordered a small one and had to send it back. I ordered a medium but it's too small. I had to agree because my dog wouldn't do his business in the rain without a coat, and we have a week and a half rain forecast. Sorry I spent $19 on something I need to replace. FYI - the hole on the back for the leash is too far forward when using a harness. If the seller corrected the sizing grid and you are just using a collar instead of a harness I would give that a 5.
