So I received this product with full confidence that it will be of high quality except maybe for durability. When I received it I was thrilled (I've been using 30 year old bindings for a few months). Needless to say, I love the lens to death. It's clear that it's fragile, but what lens isn't? There are two reasons I give it 4 1/2 stars. The main reason is that the autofocus does not work 100% correctly. I know no autofocus is going to work 100%, but with this lens the lighting has to be really perfect - and when I say perfect, I mean perfect - for the autofocus to do its job properly. . Otherwise I usually stick with manual focus and that's not a problem. It's quick and easy to switch between them. Another reason is that it is mostly made of plastic. Well, if you take care of your lens (as you should), this shouldn't be a problem. It won't crumble in your hand or break in your pocket. Just make sure you're careful with it. I personally will never take this lens off my camera unless I stumble upon a higher class and/or longer range lens along with the money to buy it. Anyway, it turned out to be a great lens and I'm VERY glad I bought it. I don't see any reason why I should buy another lens in the near future as this one covers more than enough range for my purposes as a photographer. You, don't take this lens. The autofocus works, but you'll likely find yourself focusing manually for a while (not a problem for me). If you are clumsy and prone to dropping things. Well, it's probably not worth having an expensive camera at all. But if you do, it's a good lens if you don't want to take it off the camera as it covers a wide range (18-250mm). If you're on a budget, you know how to work with lights and manual focus, and you're very careful with your stuff. is a must in my opinion.
