Review on πŸ”Š 1800w Mono Class D Amplifier by Audiopipe by Paul Wall

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Powerful amplifier at a great price! Recommend!

I can say that while it works great it drives my American Bass XR15 really well, it's still a bit weak but not by much, it's not the amps fault, it does the job target. I plan on getting a second gain match and running one on each subwoofer. I can't tether them where my subwoofers run at 1 ohm unless I want them to be at 4 ohms. no Although it drives them hard at high frequencies, what's struck me is how much more alive they sound at low volumes compared to the trailblazer GM9701 I used, although it's a great amp for the $135 I spent but now it's worth $280! No, not having this amp anywhere is NOT worth it. I looked at the APLME 2000 but there were a lot of heat issues in the reviews, plus this amp is a step up from 2K and 1800 gives 2000 watts anyway. and it doesn't seem to get very hot, yes if you stretch its legs out for a while it does get warm but not worryingly or hotter than my Soundstream 4x50w. Also, it's powered by a standard large caravan electrical system with a 140A alternator and the audiopipe voltmeter rarely goes below 13v and is between 13.5 and 14.2 most of the time, and that's with a 50x4 amp Class A/B so what I would say is pretty effective. It seems to draw a lot more than my old 1200w pioneer.
